Are you ready to push yourself and make a positive impact on mental health? The Push-Up Challenge is back in 2024 and ready for you to join! This annual event encourages participants to complete 3,249 push-ups from 5-28 June to support mental health awareness and suicide prevention. Not only will you be improving your strength and fitness, but you'll also be joining a community of like-minded individuals working towards a common goal. Don't miss this opportunity to challenge yourself and make a difference.

^ The Push-up Challenge is run by a third-party company; by filling out this form, you consent to Lifeline sharing your information with The Push-up Challenge for the purpose of your registration. Lifeline will use this information to register you and assign you to a Cranbrook team. Your team will compete against other registered students, houses and Old Cranbrookians!

What is the Push-Up Challenge?

Go solo or grab some mates and challenge yourself to 3,249 push-ups from 5-8 June. Aim for half or the full target, and you can spread them out across the day. Why 3,249 Push-ups? Sadly, this is the amount of people who died by suicide in 2022.

Can't do a push-up? No worries. You can also complete your target goal with squats, burpees, sit-ups etc. It is about getting involved in the conversation and being part of something fun.

Push for better and Help shine a light on the number of Australians who die by suicide each year.

Learn about mental health.

Each day, you'll learn about mental health as the push-up target relates to a vital mental health statistic in Australia.

For example, three 45-minute exercise sessions per week (135 minutes total) are enough to provide anti-depressant benefits to mental health.
