World Suicide Prevention Day Walk – Newcastle
Join Lifeline Hunter and our local community as we walk for those who have lost their life to suicide and the ongoing impact it has on Australians every day.
Date // Tuesday, 10th September
Time // 6am-8am (walk commences 6.30am)
Location // Dixon Park Surf Club to Merewether Baths & Return
This event is an opportunity to show your support for a suicide-safer community
- A coffee van will be on-site and the Lions Club will be cooking up a BBQ Breakfast for anyone who would like a coffee and a bite to eat.
Paid Corporate team sponsorship is also available. We would love to see local businesses support local Lifeline services through team sponsorship.
Walk notes:- Bring wet weather gear if light rain. Cancellation will be advised by 5 pm the day prior, to anyone registered.
- This is a pathed walk and is wheelchair and pram friendly.
- Dogs on leash are welcome to join walkers.
