Join Lifeline Northern NSW to remember those lost to suicide.

World Suicide Prevention Day Walk – Ballina 
9km Coastal Walk 
Date // Sunday, 8th September 2024  
Time // 5:30am (commencing walk) - 8.00am 
Location // Missingham Park (near skate park), walk to Angel's Beach and back along coastal path. 

World Suicide Prevention Day Walk – Casino 
Nine laps for Nine lives 
Date // Sunday, 8th September 2024  
Time //7am - 9.30am 
Location // Albert Park Cricket Oval, cnr Bruxner Hwy & Short St, Casino, 9 x laps of the oval 

We are hosting community walks in Ballina and Casino on the 8th September where we can gather in a safe and caring environment to work towards preventing suicides in our community.  

Help us raise awareness and support for suicide and suicide prevention, so together we can move out of the shadows and into the light towards an Australia free of suicide. 

Registration online is free, please register for the event you hope to attend so we can stay connected and let you know of any changes due to weather. 

Paid Corporate team sponsorship is also available. We would love to see local business support local Lifeline services through team sponsorship. 

Walk notes: 

• Bring wet weather gear if light rain. Cancellation will be advised by 5pm the day prior to anyone registered. 
• Casino - This is around the oval track and is wheelchair and pram friendly.
  
  
• Ballina - the hill near the surf club is quite steep and may be challenging for those with mobility restrictions.
• Ballina only - Dog on leash are welcome to join walkers.
